We start the day by watching Fluffy, as at last she seems to have got her act together and in the last couple of days has possibly overtaken Fantail. The first picture shows her nest at the start of the day - well, at the start of our day anyway!
Fluffy seems to prefer her nest cup in the middle of the floor - but here, you
can't see a nest cup. The whole area is covered with moss with a few bits
of hay to help it bind together. Still, it's easy enough to make a nest
cup if you wriggle around in it as vigorously as Fluffy does.
Here is some hay, and on the right Fluffy seems to be exploring the basement!
Fluffy was most active this morning. By running through i-Catcher's stored pictures, we can see that she made 16 visits to the nest between 7.32am and 8.55am - that's an average of one every 5 minutes.
