Still lots of visits, but no real sign of nest building.  The colder nights appear to have delayed things.

 
These two pictures show another bird in Box2 when Fluffy appears at the entrance hole. 

The other bird promptly makes a speedy departure as can be seen in the pictures below.  Finally Fluffy is left by herself in the box.

The interesting thing here is whether the other bird is Fluffy's partner or another female also looking for a nesting place.

From this picture, another of the bird seen above, you can see a fairly wide band behind its head.  We believe that this means that this bird is male and so is probably Fluffy's partner.  However, the happenings in Box1 have thrown some doubt on this.  Time will tell!

Fluffy is getting even fluffier!  (See image to the left!)

What originally looked like a small disturbance to the feathers under her left wing now looks much worse.  We hope that it is caused by a physical disturbance to her feathers rather than the result of a growth.
