This time we think that Kelly is serious about finishing her nest.
Here she is at half past eight, still bringing hay into the nest box. You can see that the floor of the nest cup is still not quite covered, but by working steadily all morning she finishes this off too.
It is now 2 o'clock and Boris has been caught inside the box again.
He pops up to check that it is Kelly.
In goes Kelly!
Boris tries to keep a low profile - a bit difficult in the confined space of the nest box. Kelly fluffs out her wings which we interpret as a sign of disapproval.
As he makes not move to go, Kelly starts to crowd him - and Boris immediately leaves.
"What's he been up to?"
