we haven't lost our colour - this was taken at about 6 o'clock this morning
and it was still quite dark - so no colour this time!
This looks like Carlos still wondering what on earth is happening to his home!

time it's nearly 2 o'clock and Carlos is back again!
"Well,
where are the new occupiers then?"
Carlos
wasn't the only one interested in what was happening. Is the nuthatch
just curious or does he still have a nesting place to find?
As on
a previous occasion when he visited this nest box, he seems to have
something in his beak - perhaps he is playing hooky while on a shopping expedition
for food for his wife?
