is a bird going into box 2.
This
is clearly the odd faced bird. It's probably too early to risk naming
it yet - particularly as I am not sure what sex it is!
My guess would be that it is a macho male....!
Another
visitor to box 1 - this bird has a wide head band. Does that mean it's
male too?
That would not be too surprising as the accepted theory is the male finds the potential nest site and persuades the female to build a nest in it.
Definitely
a wide head band.
Back
to box 2, the time is now 11:03 and Oddface is back for another look.
It's not just his face, but he appears to have a white patch on his shoulder.
Twenty
seconds later, while Oddface is still inside, another very smart looking
bird comes to perch on the hole. Let's hope that this is the start of
a relationship!
