don't believe it. Where's he gone?"
Five minutes have gone by and the remaining chicks are still rather subdued.
Mum
& Dad are still feeding the chicks. Here Kelly has brushed past a
chick which was looking out to bring some more food.
Chick
number 2 looks out ....
... and with the minimum of fuss, flies!
Immediately,
another chick hops up to look out of the nest.
He
turns for a last look back ...
... but then sits there for ages ...
...
before suddenly slipping away!
At
this stage we thought that it could all be over soon. The remaining
chicks clearly had other ideas.
"We're not going - so there!"
