It's
now late afternoon and Kate has come in after a gap - does she think it's
time to roost for the night. |
She
tries to settle down - but she is a restless as ever. She wriggles and
fidgets and just can't keep still. |
She
nearly gets buried when she does a nesting wriggle! |
She
has managed to end up with a white feather on her back. |
Now
it's on her head! |
I
think it's stuck there. She can't seem to get rid of it - not that she
is trying very hard! |
That's
it! She decides she can't take any more - which gives us an
opportunity to see her eggs properly for the first time since the first the
first day!Kate has 5 eggs! This means that she has been laying one egg each day since her first. |
A
better shot, perhaps, of Kate's eggs! You can see the speckles on them
just like those on Claire's eggs. |
Kate's
back quite quickly. We think she will stay the night now. she
seems calmer too. She must be exhausted by the frenzy of the day! |
