The male has one more go at encouraging the female to take a look inside the nest box. Here he goes in himself once more.
Inside the box he spends quite a long time looking around. He even flies up to the top of the nest box to investigate up there. We are, as usual, keeping our fingers crossed that he doesn't decide to try to get up to where the camera is!
He flashes his cheeks in the entrance hole as usual.
The female comes to the box to see what he is up to.
She soon loses interest though - perhaps it's too cold for nest box hunting!
The poor male is again left wondering where she has gone to.
He soon departs.
This was the last visit today.
