First
a great tit appeared to be taking an interest in box 1. This was the
box that a great tit pair, who we named Ferdinand and Babe, took over last
year and raised a brood of 5 chicks. You can read all about the

he is interested, isn't he?
However, this time he doesn't go in and shortly after this picture he flew away.
Another
interested bird - this time a bluetit. Judging from the next picture,
a female, wondering how her partner is getting on inside.
This
picture was taken at the same time and shows what is probably the male
having a good look round.
