A
couple of minutes later, they are at it again. This is the male
going inside the nest box.
Here
he is inside a second later.
He
tries to attract the female to come to the box by "flashing his white
cheeks at her" to quote something I have read - but can't remember
where!
A
bit later, she arrives on the nest box hole.
Still
inside the box, the male seems to be saying something to her.
Perhaps
it was "Look out, I'm coming out!"
If it was, then the warning was in vain - again the female is nearly knocked off her perch as the male leaves the box.
"What's
the hurry?"
After
a few seconds, the female does finally does go inside!
She
also has a quick look around her.
She
doesn't stay long though. Fifteen seconds after she enters the box,
she is away.
