An
amusing incident caught my eye this morning. It started with Donna
bringing some hay into the nest box. While she was thinking about
where to put it ...
... in came Mick with some food!This
seems to present Donna with a problem - what on earth should she do?
Eventually,
she decided that food came first (sensible bird!), so she just dropped the
hay ...
... and took the food!
Here
you can see that she has taken the mealworm ...
... so Mick as usual departs at high speed!
It
looks as though Mick is looking after Donna satisfactorily. Here is
another feed - a mealworm again.
Over
at Box3, a great tit has been sussing things out again. At least he
didn't have the nerve to go into the box!
Finally,
Rosie has let us see her eggs at last. If she laid the first on
Saturday 24th, she should have three by now - and here is a picture of three
eggs.Or is it four?
If it's four she must have been hiding the first egg from us on the Saturday.
Time will tell!
