A picture taken while the bluetit was leaving Box1.
In Box2, the male is clearly hoping that the female will come into the box. I'm not quite sure why as he normally leaves immediately the female joins him.
A short while later he is still waiting.
Finally he gives up waiting for her and has a look out of the nest box.
Half an hour later the great tit comes to Box2. I wonder which of these two pairs will decide to rear their chicks here. And if both do, what will happen then!
